Bill Belichick's New Subway Commercial Is Out

Via Boston.com. As we gear up for the strangest season of NFL football to kick off in a couple weeks with the New England Patriots taking the field at crowdless Gillette Stadium without Tom Brady on September 13th against the Miami Dolphins, head coach Bill Belichick has a new TV commercial out.

In the 30 second commercial, the hooded football Jedi master confronts a guy on the street holding a box of chicken wings and convinces him to toss it for a Subway foot long, with just one word. Then he gives the guy a makeover. In all, he says 7 words in the spot.

According to Boston.com, earlier this summer he said, “I haven’t ever done anything like that. It was a fun commercial to do. And everybody loves sandwiches, so hopefully, they will be OK with it. I know I’m going to get killed in the rookie shows on this. I know that’s going to happen, but I’ll just have to swallow it.”
