Boston bars are dropping like flies. Damn you coronavirus! Boylston Street in particular is becoming an alcohol free zone. First, Whiskey's closed their doors, then the bar Ken Casey from The Dropkick Murphys owned, McGreevy's, shuttered, and now The Pour House is closing!
I must have done a hundred live Chuck's Bar and Grill shows at The Pour House. Such a great dive bar. Laid back, great people working there as well as the crowds, excellent late night burgers, and they didn't care if you spilled anything.
My God, the only thing on this stretch of Boylston St. now is Trader Joe's... I need a drink.
