Via wcvb.com. Even though the New England Patriots will not be playing in Super Bowl LV, the Patriots custom plane will be making the trip with an overjoyed list of passengers.
Because of covid, this will be the smallest crowd to ever be at a Super Bowl, but 7500 health care workers from around the country have been invited to be the guest of the NFL for the incredible work they've done during the pandemic. 76 of those workers are from New England and they will be travelling to Tampa in style. The Patriots have offered to fly them like rock stars, or football stars, on one of their planes, "AirKraft."
The team said in a statement, "The mission of this trip is two-fold: to recognize and thank a representative group of the countless health care superheroes in New England, and to celebrate and spread the important message of getting vaccinated."
Each health care worker gets transportation from Gillette Stadium to Logan Airport with police escort, the flight to Florida, tickets to the Super Bowl, a ticket to the NFL TikTok Tailgate concert headlined by Miley Cyrus exclusively for vaccinated health care workers, a two-night complimentary hotel stay provided by Mark Stebbins and Leo Xarras of XSS Hotels, owner of both the Renaissance Hotel and Hilton Garden Inn at Patriot Place, a Patriots gift bag, a $100 VISA gift card to spend at Raymond James Stadium and ground transportation in Tampa.
