One Super Bowl ad you won't see this season features Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski miscommunicating badly. The T-Mobil spot is an explanation of how these two former New England Patriots ended up together on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
T-Mobil CEO Mike Sievert claims the commercial was banned from being shown during the game. Not because it's offensive, but because the NFL has a partnership with Verizon and apparently don't want you thinking of another carrier. Sievert tweeted, "Here it is! Our spot that was BANNED from the big game. Good, right?? I mean why would their “telco sponsor” not want you to see this!!?"
It actually is pretty funny. To think we lost the GOAT and Gronk because of spotty cellphone coverage...
