India has been devastated by the coronavirus. 22.6 million cases have been reported so far and experts say the number is probably much higher. Hospitals have been overwhelmed and oxygen and medicine is in short supply.
Some people have resorted to covering their bodies with cow dung and urine in the hope it will protect them from getting, or help them recover, from the coronavirus. The cow is a sacred symbol of life to Hindus and some believe the dung is antiseptic, and covering themselves with it will boost their immunity. They say some doctors have even done this for protection as they deal with covid patients. Watch...
