Via miamiherald.com. It was a great weekend of football, despite the Damien Harris fumble. One of the greatest catches of the weekend was made by Craig Cromer, the facilities manager at the University of Miami, and he doesn't even play football!
Craig and his wife have been Hurricanes season ticket holders for seven years, and when they settle into their seats at Hard Rock Stadium, he always drapes an American flag over the railing in front of them. Early in the second quarter of Miami’s home-opener against the Appalachian State Mountaineers, the crowd noise started rising up from the student section at Hard Rock Stadium. The students, many attending their first-ever home game, noticed a cat dangling from the upper deck.
Craig and his wife stretched out the flag below as the cat dangled for a minute or two, peeing on the crowd. The students screamed as the cat fell through the air, safely landing in Old Glory.
